ABOUT THIS BOOK:
This book is a standalone in the Dark Prince Road world. It appears to be the first in a series that follows three lifelong friends from Potomac, Maryland. All live the bachelor lifestyle with no intention of settling down. Romeo, Ollie, and Zach grew up on the same road together, and they know one another’s deepest secrets. While Ollie and Zach headed off to Harvard for undergrad, Romeo attended MIT across town. They’re all back in the D.C. area again, still living on the same street but in their own houses now. Romeo Costa, Jr. has a heart as cold as ice. He succeeds through his brilliant mind and intimidation. His classic Italian good looks never fail to turn heads, and he speaks like he stepped out of a nineteenth-century English novel. Women don’t much interest him, but weapons and finance do. He lives alone in his quiet and spotless mansion and he prefers it that way. Oliver von Bismarck looks like a human Ken doll and acts like a man-child. He loves women – the more, the merrier. He is loud and messy – and basically the exact opposite of his friend Romeo. He is unashamed and deliberately obnoxious, yet he maintains the power of natural charm. He develops an unhealthy fixation on Dallas’s younger sister Frankie, despite his friends’ criticisms. Zachary Sun is brilliant, but he lacks in the emotional department. His good looks might make up for that, but his impossible standards prevent him from finding any woman worth his while. His doting mother actively tries to play matchmaker, but nothing sticks. Zach can hardly put up with his own friends at times, so the prospect of him settling down is dim. His passion is collecting art, something his friends don’t really understand. |
